4 months!

Cache had his 4 month check up yesterday. Wow how time flies! He weighed 14lbs 14oz and was 26 inches! That's two inches every month since he was born! Is he going to continue to gain 2 inches each month? He cried a little bit when they gave him his shots but all in all it went pretty good!

This is Cache on his first cattle drive last Friday. He is 16 weeks!

Rolling Over

On Monday Oct 19th Cache rolled over for the first time. Trent had been gone deer hunting in Utah all weekend and Monday night after work and dinner Trent asked me if Cache rolled over yet.(He had tried to before Trent left for the weekend) I explained to him that he hadn't been put on the floor all weekend because we were moving cows and running all over the place. So the next thing I know Trent's yelling "Mamma, Mamma" so I run into the other room and Cache was laying on his back! I had missed it! I had Trent put him back on him tummy to see if he would do it again and finally after the 6th time I was finally satisfied! He's so big already!

My Blog

My friends have all been bugging me about starting a blog so they can stay updated on what's happening in the my family. So I decided to finally start one.

The last 4 months have been full of excitement. On Friday June 26 Trent and I welcomed our son Anthony Cache into the world at 6:08pm. He weighed 7 lbs 15 oz and was 22 in. He had a little bit of a rough start due to swallowing quite a bit of amniotic fluid but after 16 hours on oxygen I was finally able to hold my little boy. He continued to stay on oxygen till he was 24 hours old. Trent was amazing through the entire pregnancy and labor, in fact I had to tell him and the Dr. to quit making me laugh so I could push. :) Not many women say that, but I assure you it was only because my epidural didn't work so luckily Dr. Meller ordered me a spinal which makes you completely numb from the waist down for 3 hrs. I told Trent if all of my labors where that good we could have a hundred kids! :)

On August 29 Trent, Cache, and I were sealed in the Manti Temple for Time and Eternity! What an amazing experience that was. Two weeks later on September 13 Trent was able to give Cache his name and blessing. I can't explain it in words how proud I am of my husband, he is truly and amazing husband, father, and best friend!

September 14th was my first day back to work :( As you can all imagine I was a mess the night of the 13th knowing that I had to leave my baby and drive an hour to get to work and work a 10 hr day. After realizing that I only got to spend 2 hours a day w/ my baby it was very clear to me that this was NOT at all what I wanted for me or my baby. Even though I had an excellent babysitter it just wasn't worth it to me. Needless to say I only made it two days at work and my husband gave me the best birthday present anybody could ask for. (Staying home w/ my baby!) So I put my two weeks notice in at work and as of Oct 1st I am a stay at home Mom!
