Where do I start......

Well i'm really behind on my blogging but life at the Coates household has been pretty hectic!

Since my last posting Cache has discovered so many new things! I will post pictures when I get a chance.....but for right now I want to focus on an amazing young woman.

Last month I lost one of my dearest and best friends Tessa....she was such an amazing person who brightened everybodies day with her beautiful dimples! I miss her like crazy and I for my own selfish reasons really want her to walk through my door and tell me this is all a joke! Now I know that's not going to happen but I can wish right?

My beautiful Bonessa, I miss your laughter, your sayings, your smile, our disgusting conversations about bodily functions and most of all I miss your friendship and love! I will forever treasure every moment we had together! Whether it was stealing blinking traffic barriers and hoping the flashing light in the back of Kara's truck wouldn't give us away, to when my bronco caught on fire and you were screaming at the kids playing in their yards to get in the house because it was going to blow up, to all the stupid things (you know what i'm talking about) we did together, to the late night serious talks, to the modeling shows in our living room, to the walks home, to your fresh made cookies, to the Chris Ledoux CD's you would burn me, to girls camp. There are so many that I can't mention all of them but I will cherish every moment whether they were filled of laughter or tears they will always be cherished! I love you Momma! Until we meet again!

I am so thankful for the teachings I have learned through out my life about our purpose here on earth and in the Eternities. Without this knowledge i'm not sure if I would have made it through this one.

To my amazing husband, Thank you so much for loving me! Thank you for taking me through the temple and having our family sealed for Eternity, I could not have asked for a better person to spend the rest of my life with. Thank you for holding me while I cry and the prayers and blessing that you have given me. Most of all thank you for being my best friend and giving me our amazing little boy! I love you!

Thank you to everyone who has kept Tessa's husband Shane and her entire family in your prayers.

Catch Up!!!

I guess it's time to play catch up! I started an online college class for Medical Transcribing so now i'm learning rather than blogging while Cache is sleeping!

Where do I start. It's been a fun last month and a half. Cache finally rolled over from him back to his tummy on January 17th. Now he is rolling all over the place. He tries to army crawl but decides it's just easier to roll! Too cute!
On January 31st I just couldn't handle the hair over Cache's ears so I decide since I was cutting his Pappa's hair he could get one too! He did so good!

He cut his first tooth on February 1st and it was one of his bottom two after all! I think he is trying to cut the other one through now, he's been extremely cranky! You wouldn't know it unless you sat at home with him. He is such a people person and loves to be out and about. It finally warmed up so I took him out w/ the horses and my rope horse(Rob) thought he was pretty cool. I put Cache on and he thought he was pretty cool! He grabbed ahold of his mane and just started smiling! Now if it would quit snowing every other day so we can start riding!

6 Month Checkup

Cache had his 6 month checkup yesterday and man is he growing like a weed! He weighed 18lbs 7oz and was 27 3/4 inches! He is already grown out of most of his 6-12 month clothes so I guess it's time to pull out the 12-18 month. His Dr. was asking questions about his accomplishments in the last 2 months and she asked me if he was rolling over. I told her "only from his belly to his back" and she was baffled. She said that he should've starting rolling over from his back to his belly way before he started sitting up on his own. Then she was checking for teeth and I was telling her how I thought he is going to get his eye teeth first instead of his fronts. She checked and sure enough she said "looks like he's already breaking all the rules!" Which of course reassured me that he's definately a Coates! (because his mom never broke any rules! :)lol) Everything looked good though he's getting to big to fast!

2009 What a Wonderful Year full of Blessings!

Wow! It's come and gone fast! I cannot believe all of the blessing our family has had in 2009! We started off the year in our second trimester of our pregnancy that we had been trying for for 10 months! On February 24th we found out that our new addition was a boy! Each month after that we counted our blessings at each Dr's appointment when everything sounded and looked normal! In May we celebrated our 2 year Wedding Anniversary. On June 26th (3 days after my due date) we welcomed our greatest blessing into the world. Anthony Cache Coates born at 6:08pm weighed 7lbs 16oz and 22inches long! He had a rough start at first, but after receiving a blessing from Uncle Levi and Bishop Bowler he was able to go off oxygen after 24 hours. It was so hard not being able to hold him for 16 hours but I am so thankful it wasn't any longer. Three days later we were able to go home and start life as we know it now! On August 29th we had the opportunity to receive our Endowments and be sealed as a family in the Manti, UT temple. I cannot express the love and peacefulness that surrounded our family knowing that we can be together FOREVER! On September 13th Trent was able to give Cache his name and a blessing! Wow what a proud moment for me! On September 14th it was time for me to head back to work. That didn't last long...after crying non stop for 2 days straight Trent decided it was best that I stay home w/ Cache! I'm so thankful I have such an amazing husband! The fall was full of firsts holiday's w/ Halloween and Thanksgiving we enjoyed every minute surrounded by family and friends. December was an exciting month as well, watching Cache open his Christmas presents was priceless! I cannot believe my baby is 6 months old already!

Cache's 1st Christmas

We started off the month w/ the Coates family Christmas party in Erda, UT on December 19th. It was good to spend the afternoon w/ Trent's family. Cache was spoiled with lots of love and presents. He loves his weeble wobble penguin from Aunt Shaelee and his book and fish bowl from Grandma and Grandpa Coates! While in Utah we were also able to spend the weekend w/ Uncle Tone, Aunt Kasey and Elizabeth. It's so funny to see Tone and Trent all grown up w/ babies. Of course the poor kids had to have boxing matches! But they loved it!

Christmas Day

Cache was more than ready to open his present.

He knew just what he was supposed to do.

Waiting patiently for his Pappa to get it put together.

Loved it!

Christmas afternoon we headed off to Grandma and Grandpa Allen's for Christmas Dinner and more presents. Cache was spoiled again!

Thanksgiving Trip

On Friday we went to Utah for the Allen Family Thanksgiving party. Wow so many babies! We stopped by Anthony and Kasey Brown's house to visit and to see there baby Elizabeth who is just a month younger than Cache. She is so petite and beautiful. Cache automatically took a likin to her. "paybacks for the bullet in Trent's head from Anthony when they were younger" :)

Then it was off to Mayfield to visit Trent's Mom and Dad and grandparents for the weekend.

Cache and Great Grandpa Vest

Great Grandpa and Grandma Coates

It was nice to see everybody and to catch up on things. Hopefully we will head back down to Mayfield this month or Grandma Billie comes to visit so she can actually sit and hold Cache!

1st Thansgiving

We went to Uncle Cody and Aunt Joni's for dinner and spent the evening playing games w/ my family. It was good to have everybody around the same table :)
